Every time I see the Koodo phone ad I think of the real racism in the fake world of wrestling, clearly outlined in Steel Chair to the Head where countless examples of "Latino subordination" have taken place over the years. Just look at Rey Mysterio Jr.'s recent WWE title win (barely 1 hour long) two weeks ago on WWE's flagship show RAW. They paraded him around backstage, all 5' 4" of him, have him tell everyone how special the moment is to him, have his larger, white comrades congradulate him, only to be beaten by John Cena in a matter of minutes as the show came to an end. This isn't a wrestling storyline, this really happened.
It was real.
This isn't the first time the white powers that be have done this to Rey. They did it in style in 1996 when the nWo took up spaces that were designed for Rey.
The diminutive nature of the koodo mascot makes him harmless, someone who can entertain you and save you money. Look at his cute outfit and funny accent. Disgusting.
An essay worth checking out for sure.

That wasn't an essay, that was a google search.
